Puppet has always been an oddball.

From hatching as a feathered puffball into a family of featherless and spiked raptors, to growing into dimorph unique to that of their relatives, they have had the perfect traits to be a black sheep. And that is without even mentioning their hobbies: they are a bone collector who devotedly crafts puppets from the remains of the deceased. (Afterall, they had to have gotten their name somewhere.)

However, regardless of their youthful or present day esentrics, they have been, and are, loved.

And that has made all the difference.

✨Notes✨

Puppet has a thin, wiry build.

Puppet is half a head shorter than the average Utahraptor.

Their diet is mainly fish and bugs, especially large moths.

They can be found roaming just about anywhere, but tends to favor the Dead City and man-made structures.

✨Interactions✨

Puppet is friendly to both herbivores and carnivores, though they will be visibly cautious around large hunters that are strangers. They won't hunt herbivores (due to preferring fish, bugs, and small game), and they find herbivores insight about the local terrain and materials (especially for their puppets) to be very valuable. Such, they will eagerly strike up conversations when given the opportunity.

They haven't met many hunters that have been able to compare with herbis on (or been willing to share) knowledge about the location of man-made materials, so they are less likely to chat with carnivores unless there is an obvious benefit. They may attempt to shyly approach and befriend other Utahs, however.

They struggle with small-talk and tend to alternate between awkward - though well meaning - remarks, to bluntly jumping to the main topic or reason they initiated the conversation. They are self-conscious about how they come across and are attempting to "work on it."

Those that are close to Puppet will get to know very chatty and enthusiastic Utah, who will go on for hours about their collection and puppets. They are also eager to help or protect those they view as friends, though they occasionally may need guidance on how to do so effectively.

✨Relationships✨

‧₊˚ Eden - Mom ˚₊‧

Puppet has a warm and close relationship with their mother Eden. It was especially due to her loving upbringing that Puppet did not feel out of place in the family. Even now that Puppet has largely left the nest, they try to return home often and will often share their troubles with their mom if they they aren't able to figure them out on their own.

‧₊˚ Blight - Dad ˚₊‧

Puppet often felt like their dad, Blight, was distant, or even cold while growing up. It has taken a lot time and observation for them truely learn how much protective love for Puppet and their family has been in their dad the whole time. 

Puppet looks up to Blight and are afraid of disappointing their dad, and they'll take any opportunity they can to try to make him laugh or smile.
