Shape and Placement
- This marking cannot create complex patterns or shapes.
- This marking cannot have have holes in it.
- You may, however, add a maximum of ONE vertical break in the marking.
-- This marking can be composed of two big parts but they must look like they're part of the same marking, they can't have completely different shapes. - This marking cannot mimic other markings.
Color
- Het form must be one solid color.
- Hom form can be two-toned with a gradient.
- Can be any natural color.
- Can be affected by color modifiers.

Examples
This is an example of Het Sable being darker than the base coat and having a feathered edge.
This is an example of more shaped Hom Sable being lighter than the base coat and displaying a two-toned gradient.

This example is also creating complex and intricate design! While it can present some spikes, this would be considered a pattern.
This Sable is illegal because it has two breaks, one on each side. This would mimic Midline, so no horizontal breaks!
