Something that doesn't get talked about a lot is how few unusually colored dinos survive to adulthood.

With your own pelt acting as a neon "bite me" sign, unusually colored dinos, like Teal, have little choice but to beef up, either through physical strength or the strength of a pack.

That’s likely why Teal is rarely found without his friends, Thyme and Puppet. Even with his strutting, keenness to cuase trouble, and apparent over-awareness of his good looks, he knows he's nothing without a pack.

Teal is of average height with a slightly slim build.

Teal's diet consists of fish, invertebrates, and sometimes flower nectar due to enjoying the sweet taste.

Teal's favorite food is human candies when he can find them.

Teal has a number of nicknames, including The Water Dragon and Lotus.

According to what he has told Puppet and Thyme, he managed on his own before he met the pair as adolescents.

He can be a bit of flirt.

His favorite color is pink.

Teal will occasionally wear flowers on his feathers.

He has a special love for lotus flowers.

Teal comes across as friendly and slightly cocky towards herbis and hunters alike. However, his conversational cockiness and teasing tend to (unwisely) increase with the dino's size or if they show aggression (yeah, I'm not sure how he hasn't gotten eaten yet). For smaller dinos, he may attempt to prank or jump scare them if given the opportunity, but afterwards will attempt (often poorly) to make it clear the act was done out of friendliness.

If Thyme is present, she'll tend to manage his idiocy by talking over him if he begins to tease someone, or shooting him glares or gentle tail bats to remind him to behave.

Teal doesn't mean to hurt anyone through his teasing and will attempt to awkwardly apologize if he sees he has went too far.

‧₊˚ Thyme - Friend ˚₊‧

Teal met Puppet and Thyme when they three were adolescents and subsequently began following the two around.

Thyme and him often bicker, partially out of jealousy of her undefeated position as the pack's leader, and partially out of fun and exasperation for her insistence on tending to every poor dino they come across.

Underneath, he admires Thyme's stubbornness and strength, and wishes he was a close to someone as Thyme is with Puppet.

Teal met Puppet and Thyme when they three were adolescents and subsequently began following the two around.

Teal finds Puppet fun to tease... of course up until Thyme inevitably intervenes by surplexing him.

Overall though, Teal admires their devotion to their craft... even if it is pretty creepy.
