Sombra is devoted to the cause he was hatched into. Though he was born in Atlantis, he finds himself more at home in the world above the sea, where the wind blows and the sun shines down. He loves to explore, find new and incredible places, meet many different creatures, and he loves to try all the different foods the world has to offer. He's made it his life's goal to eat everything!

Despite his curious nature, Sombra is a coward. He'll sooner beg for his life than fight for it, and in tense situations he's known to cower and freeze up. One thing he is good at, at least, is running -- something he has to do quite frequently. As such, he is cautious, but not cautious enough. Because of the nature of his job, and the urgency of his cause, he tends to ignore borders -- he goes where he needs to, invisible walls and lines be damned.

Sombra has large amounts of respect for his elders and superiors, which is most everyone since he is of such a low rank. He is a people-pleaser, doing anything he can to help others and gain recognition and praise, regardless of the danger it may put him in. Despite this, he doesn't desire respect himself or any form of fame or glory. He wants only for everyone to be happy.

With so much going on all the time, Sombra has little time for a love life, and hardly even time for friendship -- and yet he still crushes hard after Deimos. They have a ... complicated relationship, one where mixing personal with business is difficult. Sombra does whatever he can to impress Deimos as his superior, but also for more personal, emotional reasons too. Whether it's working is hard to tell.
