Alastra has a big personality, which is a sharp contrast to the fact that she is mute. Even though she is unable to speak or produce any form of sound or noise, she doesn't let that stop her from having an opinion and getting it across. She'll often stomp her feet or lash or tail or nod or shake her head, anything she can do to communicate. It's frustrating for her, not being able to talk like everyone else, but she's fortunate to have family members who understand. Her father, Ikkuno, has trouble speaking and the two of them have bonded over it, becoming silent companions.

Alastra is very, very close with her father, but even more so with her youngest sister, Shika. Shika was the last in the clutch to hatch, and for a while they thought she wasn't going to. But Alastra and Ikkuno refused to give up hope and it paid off in the end. Alastra and Shika are inseparable, very closely bonded, and Shika understands her better than anyone else and will stand up for her and communicate for her in ways Alastra herself can't.

Taking being the eldest sibling rather seriously, Alastra is does her best to keep her brothers and sisters in line. She tries to keep them out of trouble, something she and her brother Verion agree on.

Member of Storm Chasers

Storm's Pack, the Storm Chasers, claim a territory made up of the highlands and forests of Isla Pera. They reside primarily in the heart of the highlands, but do a majority of their hunting further down towards the forests.

Unlike their more easygoing neighbors, the Storm Chasers are much more strict on their borders. They will often only allow trespassers should they be passing through, and will actively chase out anyone who overstays their welcome. They do not, however, allow the members of their rival pack, the Woodwind pack, onto their lands under any circumstances. They have a much more serious lifestyle, maintaining borders and spending the majority of their time making sure everyone is fed and happy. As such, they tend to be more close-knit and strongly bonded to each other, something they take great pride in.
