[Open] Semi Custom Sale

The money we make from these sales goes towards improving the game and adding new features. All of our website development has been thanks to the funds we have received in past sales! With the funds we raise, we are able to pay for site hosting, custom coding work, and artists that help us create assets for the game.
This year, we'll also be donating a portion of proceeds to the Hawaiʻi Land Trust, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation.

How it works
You get to build your own geno by selecting components from the lists below! The total price is based on the building blocks you choose. Find the category and specifications of each piece of the geno, then total them up together for your final price. Note: all prices are in USD.
The variant and sex of all genos are randomly rolled (but you can change these with Bone Shop or Crafted items later, if you so choose). At minimum, you must select a species for your geno to establish a base price. At this price, you would receive a geno with 0 markings and a base color of your choosing.
For genos with randomized markings, you have the option of 1 reroll of the geno once you receive it. But beware- the first geno disappears, and all random markings will be rerolled! Be very sure you don't want your first rolled geno if you are asking for a reroll. The variant and sex of the geno will not be rerolled.
New this year: you can now select a randomized primal marking for one of your geno's marking slots!
Rules
You may sell, trade, and gift the genos you purchase, but only for the amount you paid or less. Once made into an import, the import will switch to regular trade rules (no limitations on price).
All orders are assumed to be for yourself unless stated otherwise. If you want us to send a semi custom geno to someone else's account, you must state so in your order, otherwise your account will receive the geno and transferring is up to you.
Coordinating with other members to get around purchase limits is strictly forbidden. Doing so (or attempting to do so) will result in- at minimum- a permanent blacklist from all Primeval Age sales now and in the future. The limits are there for a reason- please respect them!
Payment
All transactions will be completed through PayPal.
Once your order is processed, you will receive an invoice to the email address you provided for your PayPal account. The invoice will include our terms as well as your order number. If you order multiple genos at once, each one will be assigned a suborder number. Please keep track of your order numbers so that you can redeem your semi custom later.
Please do not send any payment until you receive an invoice.
There are no refunds. Please be certain of your purchase before you send payment.

Base Color
You can select a base color from any of the swatches below! Please know that our swatches are close, but not exact to the legal colors programmed into our site- your chosen base color may be slightly adjusted if it is out of bounds. But we'll always keep it as close as possible to your selection!
Standard swatches are all included with the base price of your geno, and you may select from any of them.
Special swatches are for colors in the white or black range. It will be an additional $5 if you wish to use a color from either of these swatches.

Markings
Here you can choose which markings to include in your geno! Markings are divided by rarity and then further divided by het, hom, or random.
Het = Heterozygous
Hom = Homozygous
Het and Hom refers to the form of the gene you receive. Hom genes have a higher chance of passing that marking on to offspring and generally have more options for gene expression on designs. These options are both chosen marking options, meaning that you get to select the exact marking you want on your geno.
Random options are, as the name suggests, randomized markings from that rarity tier. Random marking genes have a chance to roll in the hom form (if there aren't already 2 hom chosen markings present).
You may have a maximum of:
6 markings total
3 rare markings
2 hom markings
You may select up to 4 chosen markings, but may include 2 random markings with them to reach the maximum total. You may select all random markings if you so wish.

Mutations
Note: Color mods and Mutations are calculated separately from each other if adding both. This means that you should not calculate a color mod for a new total, then calculate the mutation off of the total with the color mod added (and vice versa). See examples below.

If you want your order to be redeemable by a different account (if you are buying a semi custom for someone else), please include a note in your order with their account name.

Once you comment your order, keep an eye on your email! Admins will be processing orders when they have time. To streamline the process, staff will avoid contacting you unless there is an order error. If your order is good to go, we'll be sending along an invoice to your PayPal.
Don't worry if there are minor price errors in your form- we'll fix these when we set up the invoice! If there are major issues with your order, such as builds exceeding set limits or major price discrepancies, then we'll contact you via Discord to get it sorted.
Once you have paid on the invoice, you are all set to claim your semi custom geno! Remember to save your order number(s).
To have random elements rolled and receive your geno, you will need to submit a claim.
