The jungles of Atlantis were such a beautiful place. The plants located here were like no other on top the surface. Some were deadly and poisonous, bearing sharp thorns and tangling vines. Others were more subtle, releasing spores to daze and intoxicate their enemies. Still, others were more friendly, able to be used for healing or to fight of illnesses. Chlorophyll had never felt so at home before- the jungle welcomed here, the Atlantans shared much of her mind...

“So let me get this straight.” Mary lashed her tail, pacing from side to side in the abandoned warehouse that the rebels had apparently set in. The marshes sang with the voices of insects and the creak of trees swaying in the evening winds. Above them, the dusky sky dimmed into violet, and the cries of distant herds echoed across the low plains. The third day of servitude brought something new for the trio- the first two days had been interesting with them trapped inside of the compound of Atlantis, doing various tasks for the court.  Morning in Atlantis was unlike morning on the surface. The sun didn't quite rise- because there was no sun. Instead, the still working parts of the artificial sky jerkily lightened in quick brusts- resulting in quite an abrupt awakening.  Of course, Mary and Mintee were not woken by the fake sky- still tucked away deep in their “guest house” (cell). The place they were given to sleep was… lackluster, to put it nicely. A room on the outskirts of the facility, broken down and dripping from old pipes.
