5096: Pavonala

Personality: Honest and passionate Pavonala is like fire in many ways. She can be as warm, guiding and caring as a campfire or torch, or she can be a force personified who will injure or destroy those caught in her wrath. She is brave and independent, confident in everything she does, and challenges and inspires those around her. Pavonala is a natural leader but does not have a pack of her own, instead her company is made of those she meets or takes care of She adores hatchlings of all species and will care for those who need help, Pavonala can also be a friend to those who are grown and need assistance. 

Physical Description: Pavonala is a force, she is a presence, a monument. For a Suchomimus she is massive, tall, long, solid, she is like rough rock, like a walking sculpture of slag. Pavonala has red eyes with a blue mouth and tongue, her claws are onyx and her face black with a deep red chin. Running from under her eyes is a ragged, cream stripe which swoops back along her shoulders like a checkmark. Framing the mark of cream is black curse, covering all of her arms her cape and broken up only by the red markings on her neck. The rest of her body is a deep red, broken up by ragged, bright red rosettes framed with black like lava at the surface of a volcano. These lavaspots are massive at the hips before progressively becoming smaller, more scattered, and more black like they have had time to cool. The insides of her legs are void of marks, offering a calm in her overall design. 

Story: Some say Pavonala is a goddess of fire, born from a volcano. No remembers ever seeing her grow up, she doesn't remember having any family, and to others she kind of just appeared one day. Did she step out of the ashes? Was she incubated in the magma below and set free during an eruption? No one knows. She is such an imposing force that some are too scared to ask. 

Despite her imposing nature sure is a very sweet Suchomimus and has made a name for herself taking care of stray hatchlings of all shapes and sizes. She is a friend one can reach out to, a foster parent to all. Pavonala is the unofficial leader of a loose alliance of four Suchomimus, herself, Venango, Akamu, and Khazri, and other allied dinosaurs who try to see to it no hatchling is left alone to fend for themselves if it can be helped. She lives in the southwest part of Isla Pera, living around the ashlands, lavatunnels and lavaflows where she seems to surprisingly thrive. She is a master at catching skates in the sea that lay their eggs in the volcanically heater waters.

-Named after two extraterrestrial volcanos. Pavonis Mons (Peacock Mountain) on Mars and Anala Mons on Venus.
