Her hide is smooth and unblemished, which she swears is the product of frequent bathing in sand and saltwater. She has longer legs that give her a longer stride and a purposeful, methodical gait when walking. She wears a silver necklace on her left wrist.

Interactions
She struggles a bit making genuine connections to others, and can get jealous if she feels someone she’s fond of is giving their affection to someone else. She’s getting better about it, but can still come off as a bit haughty sometimes.

It takes a lot to goad Petrichor into a fight, and she would rather talk her way out of trouble or run away than actually fight. She tends to have a light and teasing tone when addressing others, which can often make it feel as though she’s belittling them.

History

Petrichor’s family has some interesting dynamics and history - which she has tried to distance herself from physically and metaphorically. She learned a lot about self-sufficiency and survival through simple observation of her grandmother, Glass, and eventually took those lessons beyond the clan when she learned about Isla Pera.

It wasn’t long after she set foot on the island that she met Callahan, who was wild and uncontrolled and so different from the raptors that she had grown up with. Callahan… could help her learn how to hunt and survive in this totally different environment, too.

The two traveled together, and were among those who explored the Alpha lab when the door finally opened, but didn’t make it far inside. Petrichor, perhaps trying to show off to Callahan, suffered a twisted ankle. Disappointingly, due to her own actions, they had to stay on the first level to tend to the swollen joint.

Petrichor felt wretched about it, but it turned out to be a boon in disguise. They grew closer as she healed, Callahan revealing that she cared much more for Petrichor than she had initially let on. Callahan provided for them and even came back with a gift - a delicate, glimmering necklace that the humans had left behind.

When it was healed and they were preparing to leave, Callahan found an abandoned hatchling acrocanthosaurus, she seemed to adore. She adopted him, which Petrichor… had to get used to. She came to accept that Tar meant something to Callahan, and showing disdain to the hatchling would only drive a wedge between them. The trio continue to wander Pera as a small family unit.
