Shape and Placement

  • Stripes must be fairly rounded, and form natural, irregular shapes.
  • Stripes can be angular and form somewhat geometric patterns.
  • Stripes can be both horizontal and vertical.
  • Can present stray and trailing spots.
  • Both the Het and Hom form may present a different colored outline around the marking.
  • It can be softly erased to create a fading effect.
  • Discus cannot mimic other markings, especially TabbyTapir, and Royal.

Color

  • Het form must be one solid color.
  • Hom form can be two-toned with a gradient.
  • Can be any natural color.
  • Can be affected by color modifiers.

Feathered
Optional Fade
