Shape and Placement
- Stripes must be fairly rounded, and form natural, irregular shapes.
- Stripes can be angular and form somewhat geometric patterns.
- Stripes can be both horizontal and vertical.
- Can present stray and trailing spots.
- Both the Het and Hom form may present a different colored outline around the marking.
- It can be softly erased to create a fading effect.
- Discus cannot mimic other markings, especially Tabby, Tapir, and Royal.
Color
- Het form must be one solid color.
- Hom form can be two-toned with a gradient.
- Can be any natural color.
- Can be affected by color modifiers.
