Shape and Placement
- Must create soft, fleshy and/or feathery features around the head.
-- Some examples include wattles, dewlaps, combs, frills, and display feathers. - Decorative feathery features can present on both bald and feathered dinosaurs.
- Fleshy additions that extend from feathered areas can be covered by non-decorative feathers that match the dinosaur's covering.
-- These non-decorative feathers must follow normal marking and color rules, not the Flair color rules below. - Shapes must be semi-realistic; it should still look like a realistic dinosaur feature, not overly fantasy.
- This mutation should not mimic other mutations.
-- Flair can present small "spines" along the edge of fleshy features, similar to chicken combs! These must be small, and not mimic a separate Thorny structure.
Color & Style
- Lineart of added features should look similar to the lines of the import for style consistency.
- There should be a clear delineation between the import base and where the Flair feature begins/ends.
- Flair is not restricted to natural colors nor affected by color modifiers - bright and saturated colors are allowed.
- Decorative features can be solid colors, have gradients, and/or simple markings such as stripes and spots.
- Different areas can have different colors and/or different patterns.
- Flair is not an extension of the base or skin.
-- Markings cannot extend onto added fleshy or decorative feather areas.
-- Markings can extend onto non-decorative feathers on feathered dinosaurs.
Interactions
- May be combined with other mutation features.
- May layer on top of or under other mutations as long as its consistent across the design.
- Fleshy features can cover feathers on a feathered dino to create false bald patches.

Flair cannot create rigid structures such as the spines here - however, this could be possible if combined with Thorny!

Range
- Minimum coverage - at least one feature must be present.
- Maximum coverage - 100% of head and/or neck may present flair features.
- This mutation may only appear on the head and neck; ending at the shoulders.
-- Can not cover the eyes or mouth.
-- Can be in separate areas of the body - does not need to all be in one area.
