Chapter 2: Welcome to the Jungle
War of Thorns
End date TBA
The secrets of the scouts are revealed. Down into the earth and into the tunnels beneath the sea must you trek, and there you shall discover their homeland.
A long-ago Morpheus project once endeavored to create habitable "bio-domes" across land and undersea, and this project began in the waters around the Kiama Islands with their first, fully self-sustaining dome- better known by its codename:
Atlantis
Once a botanical testing ground for Morpheus, Atlantis is now a thick, overgrown jungle full of strange and deadly plants. Like all specimens of Morpheus, these plants have undergone extensive genetic modification, and many new species have taken root here.
Forgotten by time and lost below the sea, the inhabitants of Atlantis have long since adapted to this unforgiving world. The scouts speak of warriors who patrol the dome, guarding it from threats.
And it quickly became clear who these warriors are:
Euoplocephalus
The question is: what, exactly, are they guarding?

Atlantis

This self-sustaining eco-dome is hidden deep beneath the waves between the islands of Kela and Pera. Sea tunnels connect the islands to this dome and gateways once sealed this dome off from the world above. But after power grid changes occurred on Pera many months ago, the dome has been opened, and the inhabitants have at last begun to emerge.
This hidden world is rife with danger. Thick jungle has grown wild and free to dominate the entirety of the dome, full of strange and unusual plants. Whatever facilities Morpheus once maintained within this dome have long seen been overtaken by the hungry jungle, though many things still work. Heavy-duty lighting systems rigged up across the dome simulate the cycle of day and night, and machines cycle air like wind. Massive water pump systems regulate and filter water for the dome, allowing even fully aquatic creatures access into Atlantis waterways. The panels that once covered the exterior of Atlantis have deteriorated, allowing the dome inhabitants a view of the ocean beyond the glass in some places.
There is no doubt that Atlantis was- and still is- a wonder of science. But be warned, adventurers: this place is not for the light-hearted. If you want to discover the secrets of this place, you'll have to brave the jungle and step into the unknown.
