Heron is a care-free cryo, always showing care for others (even if they don't deserve it) and never giving up easily. She's not stubborn, just has a lot of patience and compassion.

As an egg she was abandoned in the Marshlands, and cared for by a kind styracosaurus with a nack for healing and incredible patience. Tumbledown didn't seem to mind that Heron was a carnivoure. Most of the time once she grew from a hatchling, she would venture out on her own, a very curious one. Heron ate all sorts of critters, giving her an adventurous palate.

Being raised by an herbi such as Tumble, she was awfully peaceful towards other dinos, perhaps too much. She's had a couple of bad run-ins, but she manages to escape everytime. So one day she meets little Robin, who she decides to travel with for a while and help build his own home up in the trees. Along the way, closer to the more rocky areas of Isla Kela- she stumbles upon Somber... who lashed at her for scaring away his prey.

Despite that, the two became closer and grow up together. They have a clutch of eggs before becoming mates. That didn't last long though, because Somber still had to live with his pack, and Heron was sure to be killed if they ever found out about her. Until one day, Somber hastily tells her his father was killed, and he was to inherit his role... before running off.

Her usual attitude changed when Somber left though. The world got darker, scarier, and more stressful as she cared for her children. The hanging bodies grew. She never saw them up close, but from a distance, she could also smell them.
