Shape and Placement

  • Formed by irregular, star-like dots or irregular squares that create a sort of puzzle pattern.
  • Dapple can have lower opacity.
  • It can fade out towards the edges, ie: towards legs, head, belly and tail.
    -- If adding a fade, the whole marking must fade!

Color

  • This marking must be lighter than the color it sits on top of.
  • Het form must be one solid color.
  • Hom form can be two-toned with a gradient.
  • Can be any natural color.
  • Can be affected by color modifiers.

This Dapple is illegal because its darker than the colors it sits on top of! Dapple must always be lighter.


This Dapple is illegal because the whole marking should fade if adding a fade! The neck, arms and tail are not fading.
