Doomsday: Chapter 3

You've made it past the deadly spikes of Zone B, but the danger is far from over.

In the back of your mind, you know there must be some reason that the dacentrurus stay in Zone B. For such big, tough dinosaurs, it seems strange for them to confine themselves to only one zone, doesn't it?

But there's no turning back now. You haven't raced past all those dacentrurus just to turn back and run the gauntlet again. No; it's time to delve deeper.

As you plunge into Zone C, the hallways and rooms become even more dilapidated, smelling of mold and blood and rust. Lights become less frequent and more dim, and every shadowed corner feels a little bit more sinister.

When you finally encounter one of the residents of this zone, you have to stop to look up.

And up.

And up.

From the decrepit corners of Zone C emerges an unfamiliar creature, towering and toothy-

Introducing: Acrocanthosaurus

The Acrocanthosaurus are wary of newcomers, and they don't seem keen to let just anyone pass through their zone. Perhaps there's a way to convince them to let you explore?

Entering these new depths, you discover Zone C: the Laboratories and the Testing Sites.

Chapter 3 contains two separate event prompts for exploration, a discoverable Secret Location, and a new story prompt.

Story prompts differ in that they are one-time quests that progress the event story, must be completed in sequential order, and contain unique, guaranteed rewards.

These labs are dangerous, so beware of injuries and radiation as you explore!

Be warned: there's a new status effect. Your dinosaurs can now become irradiated when exploring a radiation hazard area. No one knows quite what irradiation will do to a dinosaur. Your dinosaurs may begin to feel a little sick, and may bring home Alpha Cryopods instead of eggs...

Hazardous Expeditions

If your dinosaur starts to feel sick, and you want to cure it, head over to the Crafting Center to trade for some Iodine.

And keep an eye out- the radiation is still spreading, and more irradiated areas may appear later.
