Context: rime and gloam are adapting well to life outside the alpha labs, but just as things are starting to go well for them... they discover the islands are a bit more changeable than the constant environment inside the morpheus facility they came from. when it's clear that supernova is hiding something, they decide it's time they got a straight answer using whatever means necessary, before they lose their chance altogether
