There's a lot going on behind the scenes for us right now! We're excited to share some recent updates as well as some news about upcoming activities.

Import Approvals is now open

You can now submit designs for approval! 

This process is a little different from the way it worked on deviantART, and might be a bit confusing the first times you take a look at it. To submit an import for approval, you'll need to click on the geno you want to use and click "submit design" in the sidebar. You'll need to create a new design request, which is set to draft mode and can be edited at any time until you submit it.

From there, you'll need to fill out the info in each tab, then click "save" in each tab- a green circle should appear next to the tab title when done correctly. Once you have approved and saved all tabs, you can submit the design for approval, and it will be added into the queue for staff. A staff member will either approve the request or comment on it and return it if something needs corrected.

For male dinos, there is currently not an option to add your dimorphic marking info into the submission- you can just leave a comment and we'll add it for you!

There are a few items that can't be used yet- the Rebirth item has a bug preventing it from being used properly right now, and it is disabled until we get it fixed (should be soon). Additionally, the Random Marking Applicator, Rainbow Scarab, and Herb Paste cannot be used during import approval. These items will be applied from the inventory only, but they are not set up yet. 

Other Site Updates

- Genos can now have names set by the owner (same as an import- genos have an "edit profile" option that will allow you to rename them)

- You should now be able to delete your pending activity submissions (if you make an error or need to resubmit for any reason, you can go into the submission and delete it! But submissions cannot be edited)

- Viewing your breeding permissions by clicking the link in your notifications should no longer cause an error

Upcoming

- The next major feature we plan to implement is Breeding and the Hatchery - these areas are mostly completed, but still need some fine-tuning and testing before release. Aging Quests, Newbie Egg Center, and Adoption Center are all areas we would like to put together soon as well!

- The next Fundraising Sale will be opening very soon! The sale will include semi customs, import auctions, starter breeding slots, eggs, and some specialty items. We'll also be including some bundle deals, holiday discounts, and holiday mystery boxes!

- The Festival of Cheer will be running from early/mid December through sometime in January! This event will include some holiday prompts, raffles, and new gift boxes (with gifts both new and old)

- While we originally intended to run another lore event before the end of this year, we've unfortunately had to push those plans back- we want to focus on getting the game's core features up and running on the site first before we try to tackle a big event. This event will likely launch in Q2 of 2023 (possibly earlier depending on how our site progresses)

- Variant applicators coming soon!
