The sun was the first one to start stirring the nests this morning. The light tickled and warmed his frill over the high edge of the nest. Peeking up with one eye- Storm could see his mother still slept nearby, head turned away to face the sunshine.  Leaning backwards, then forwards, the lone hatchling stretched his little legs with a yawn.
