Charcoal was trained from a young age to be a protector of Atlantis and serve the kingdom as a fine warrior, but due to losing on behalf of the courtiers in a duel for one of their games, he was cast out of the knights' ranks and told to never return. Everything he knew and wanted to protect was now forever out of reach. All because he wasn't strong enough. But then, what else was there for this exiled herbivore?

Charcoal is quite stubborn and quick to judge. He will dive in headfirst into a fight and isn't exactly the nicest dinosaur to encounter. But deep down beneath that hard exterior is a kind heart with a desire to help and take care of the ones he cares about.
