The trio padded again across the soft, muddy floor of the jungle- well, 2 padded. Snowshoe walked carefully, keeping her wings close to her side. Even after growing up in the jungle, she never really got used to the mud and dangerous plants.    Flurry stomped around behind her, the white albertosaurus having an even harder time with the uneven and slippery terrain. Already she had almost slipped and fell flat...

The trek through the jungle had been a long and hard one- and they were not nearly done yet. Snowshoe halted outside the compound, nervously worrying about her claws. The amnesiac had slowly been recovering more and more of her memories on the way over, and what she found… were not the happiest, to put it lightly. Part of her wanted to simply turn tail, fleeing back the way they had come. But it was far too late for that now.    ...

A trio of flying dinosaurs- tapejara- soar over the ruins of a human settlement, searching for the mysterious ‘oviraptor’ dinosaurs that they've heard other dinosaurs talk about. The jungle was hot, hot beyond anything that Bassoon had felt before. The overgrown foliage trapped the heat beneath the trees, and the massive amounts of water that came from them being underwater made the air extremely humid. Humid heat was the worst, the tapejara was quickly learning. Panting, the flyer let himself collapse in the cool mud with a groan. While far from cold, it was warmer than the actual jungle was.    ...

The path through the strange tunnels had been long and terrifying. While there had been little to no danger inside the human-made tunnels, the ocean so close above them was even more terrifying. To Bassoon, a tapejara, it was a terrible experience. Being both underground and underwater were two things he thought impossible, yet here they were. Finally, Their search had turned up. Long weeks of scouting through the islands, attempting to hunt down the elusive oviraptors that dodged their every attempt. Finally, the source had been found. Rumors say it was a tapejara who had finally found the location, and rumors spread like wildfire. They varied in just what happened, but all agreed on one thing; the place where the oviraptors came from was underground… and underwater.   ...
