Even from a distance the red hot magma is hot against her face and Snowbird squints, shielding her pale eyes from the distant glow. She sees herself, mimicked in the red emblazoned on her side, rolling down her scales like the remnants of an angered volcano. And yet, she is calm, quiet...determined. Her search had brought her here, to the volcano, though it seemed to be fruitless. Truthfully, Snowbird wasn't sure who or what she was looking for. They had helped her...

Eos ran as quickly as she could across the Peran landscape, claws kicking up pebbles and small bits of debris with every frantic step. She panted as she ran, arms folded close to her chest with her claws tucked away so that they didn’t catch or break on anything as she ran through the twisting, turning corridors and crags of the rock and boulder-strewn stretch of the Peran scrublands. The landscape was rapidly turning into a canyon, the ground curving downward...

                Spring had come like a freight train with no breaks at full speed through winter. There had been no gradual build to the warmer days, the greener grass, the days of rain. It had, instead, been snowing one day and then the next day all the snow had melted and the sun was beating down on the isle.
