Grumpy, quick to snap at anyone who dares approach, though prefers to stay out of sight if possible. Spends most of her time examining things she finds in the Dead City, being quite curious about the humans and what they were doing. Not that she would ever share that. Especially not with her rival (and girlfriend), Fleck, who lives in the highlands but sometimes shows up just to taunt Socks, she thinks. One day she'll go to those damn highlands and give that stupid pretty face a piece of her mind, and maybe a thwack for good measure... Wait, pretty..? And then after a while Fleck moved into the Dead City with her! How dare she?! Just to antagonise her?! Oh well, keep your enemies close and all that...

Whilst neither would ever openly admit it, Fleck and Socks are very much gay for eachother. Trying to brutally murder eachother spontaneously just happens to be their love language, though they do have their moments of chill. Its somewhat like when cats randomly bat eachother out of nowhere.
