Seperated from his herd and ended up in the Ashlands as a juvinile. He knows the fire patterns like the horn on his nose, and grazes just ahead of the fire where the plants are the most established. He has somewhat of a friendly rivalry with Grackle. It's only friendly because they both know Shank could gut Grackle in a moment if he wanted.

He runs a fire watch/fire alert system along with [i need], [more dinos], and [for this]. They alert nearby dinosaurs to fire conditions and current fire locations.
