**Name: ** Akamu

**Canon Age:** Elder Adult

**Personality:** Akamu is as solid and rugged as a rock, shaped by the environment around him which he has grown up with his entire time. An odd Sucho in a way, who knows little water. Akamu has no given age, but he is wise and looks after young dinosaurs, finding safety and family for hatchlings who need a place to belong.. or helping them survive until old enough to defend themselves and move on. He is allies with 3 other Suchos on the island, all who enjoy caring for others. Akamu is generally non-combative unless pushed. He's exceptionally protective of hatchlings, and means no harm to any of them.  He often spends time submerged in sand as if it is water, gathering resources, or telling tales to those passing through. 

 

Physical Description: Akamu is a large Sucho sandy tan in color with a light tailtip, unders of the hands and feet, and a light spot on the eyes. He has light starring on his face, elbows, legs and near his tailtip. He has black dorsal stripes with brindling filling between, running from behind his shoulder to halfway down his tail. He has purple/pink dimorphic stripes near the base of his tail and purple/pink eyes. 

 

Story:  No one really knows where Akamu came from, some might think he was eroded out of stone itself or built from wetted sand. He  doesnt have a memborable childhood and no one really remembers him Currently he lives in the dry, arid scrubland of the northwest part of Isla Pera, migrating through savannah and desert. He is part of a loose network of dinosaurs throughout the island that make it their job to take care of hatchlings, whether this means raising the hatchling themselves or finding a home for the hatchling. It doesn't matter the species, if they're young and in need then they can find a friend with Akamu and the core members of this network.. 3 other Suchomimus located on other parts of Isla Pera.
