6581: Orka

Orka is very stubborn & tends to dismiss feelings, both that of others & herself. She has a pretty cold & matter-of-fact view of the world & has little compassion for others. Her clutchmates all succumbed to the dangers of the wilderness fairly early into their lives; Orka never really learned to trust others as a result. She had to make it on her own. Orka doesn't consider herself special for being the only one in her clutch to make it; the way she sees it, she was just lucky to be the one who lasted long enough to learn from their mistakes instead of becoming an example herself.

Orka grew up in Atlantis. It's where she was hatched. Some time after the last of her clutchmates had died, some iguanodons from the court of Atlantis noticed the lonesome little euoplocephaling & took it upon themselves to look after her. Orka never really had one parental figure, & she was given plenty of space to just do her own thing, but certain courtiers liked to check up on her from time to time, invite her to eat with them & give her motherly or fatherly advice.

Orka is pretty quiet & asocial. She's not afraid to speak up; she's actually a pretty bold & shameless euoplocephalus & doesn't take crap from others. She just doesn't feel the need to talk for the sake of filling silence, nor does she look to socialization as a way to have fun. It doesn't even cross her mind, that she should get to know the other individuals she's with. If someone does try to start a conversation with her, she is willing to go along, so long as she doesn't feel like she has anything better to do. It's not actually that hard to get her to talk. She's not really all that private or reserved, she just doesn't share things about herself unprompted much.
