Aging - The New Guy

Teal eventually outgrew his younger habit of hiding his bright pelt with mud and leaves... and replaced it with a mask of overconfidence.

So of course he finally decided to introduce himself to the pair of raptors he had wanted to befriend for years and years by boasting about how awesome we he was.

Puppet and Thyme were rightly confused by the odd looking raptor who had appeared out of no where to spout about what a mistake it'd be to pass up on having him join their pack. And when he wouldn't shut up they opted to slowwwly walk away from the bizarre situation.

And Teal followed.

So now they're kinda stuck with him.
