Life has been tough for me for many years, but I'm finally in a position to start drawing again. However I feel like I've gone backward a bit with my art skills since I went so many years without drawing a thing. I opened up cheap commissions to get me back into the swing of things, which is fantastic practice, but something always feels off, which causes my brain to want to give up.
What do you guys do to practice or sharpen your drawing skills? Are there any favorite books you read, pictures you trace, or artist streams you watch, that helps you build up your skills? Do you plan out a certain day of the week to practice drawing? Let me know your motivation, because it could also help others who read this thread.
