The Alpha Complex

This facility on Isla Pera was the first permanent complex established by Morpheus in the archipelago. The Alpha Labs are a sprawling subterranean design made up of multiple levels, including residential housing, laboratories, warehouses, and specimen storage areas. It's believed by many that this complex was not used only for species development, but that genetic experimentation was pushed to the extreme here, resulting in unusual strains of creatures and mutations.

At some point, when humans still lived within its walls, a lockdown protocol was initiated throughout the facility. The Alpha Labs were sealed off from the outside world in order to protect the facility from the global chaos. Unfortunately, things went bad inside. What was meant to be a bastion of survival for the remaining humans became a tomb as systems failed and specimens awoke. Trapped within the Alpha Labs by the lockdown, it is thought that many species may once have battled for supremacy within, but three species ultimately dominated the competition: the albertosaurus, dacentrurus, and acrocanthosaurus.

An untold number of years later and seismic activity on Isla Pera disrupted the lockdown protocol systems, opening the doors of the lab for the first time in a long time.
