Context: Hatchling: Those who were picked for specific roles as hatching would begin their training also immediately. Regis, for example, was one who was selected to read the sprawling texts left by those before and advise the court. He wasn't opposed to his designation, but he always felt a tinge of jealousy to those who had a choice. When Regis crossed paths with Boneice, however, he learned that perhaps he did have one choice in life he could make. Little did he know that that one crossing would change their course in life forever.
