Velella had been wandering the beach, unimpressed at today's pickings for beach combing, when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Nice nightlight."
She turned to find a brightly colored & scaled utah perched on some rocks behind her.
He have been very quiet; she'd give him credit for that. But he was also fool trying antagonize her when he was easily within lunging range.
After a moment she flatly replied "Nice barnacles" and continued on her way.
The utah followed, at a distance.
