It was a dark night on the island in which most were asleep but others used the night as a way to get ahead as it was courtship season with most on the look out for potential partners and during the night shift most hunters like cryolophosaurus. Swiftly moving behind thick brush , blue scales glistened in the night's light from the moon as it lit up the island making the darkness somewhat bearable. Eyes peaked from the darkness as a blue underbelly followed, it was Wing, a large cryo who was on the look out for something specific filled with determination he kept low and a quick pace about him almost like he was in a hurry to find something or someone. Skidding to a stop he lifted his head sniffing the air and taking in a deep breath before his pupils slitted as he had picked up the scent he was looking for.

Deeper in the thick forest a green toxic glow illuminated the area around itself as heavy footsteps could be heard almost like a radioactive reactor was walking around. Glowing jaws followed by eyes scanned the area around him, he was also tracking a scent and it happened to be Wing and the two were moving towards each other with quick paces as the two had something on their minds and that would be to possibly court each other although it was a dangerous dance for the carnivores. The two came out into an opening that was grassy and covered in bones that lay in the grass around them.

Wing hissed as he spotted Nukes glowing markings making himself look tall but lowering his head to show he wasn’t a threat as Nuke was a lot larger then him. Low growls were exchanged as Nuke flashed his glowing markings at Wing with the black cryo raising his head up and flaring his crest forwards and Wing matched his movements but slowly so the two wouldn’t set each other off. Courtship dances were a risky game especially during these tense standoffs of showing one another each other's strengths. Nuke took the lead as he walked towards, Wing once more flaring out his bulky arms and letting out a hiss waiting for a response from the blue and black cryo as Nuke wanted to see if the smaller cryo would copy him to see if they would work well together.

Wing matched Nuke and flared his crest and opened his arms before letting out a lower pitched hiss, the courtship dance now in full swing in which Wing made the next move as he bobbed his head up and down watching Nukes movements and glowing radiance. With quick movements Nuke copied the head bobs and let out a low growing rumble before with quick speed Nuke and Wing clashed together rearing their heads backwards and letting out more rumbles deep from their throats. The two carnivores sat there for a few moments before they backed off from one another and circled once again.

The two were doing well and they were compatible so far and both had liked what they had seen from each other but now the real test was to come as Nuke turned around and picked up large stick before throwing it over to Wing, in which the large black cryo wanted to see if Wing could build a proper nest and Wing was quick to respond. The smaller cryo quickly takes off from the grassy area and goes into the thick bushes with Nuke waiting for the return of Wing who was foraging around for thick sticks that would be good for the nest that they would have to build.

“This should work , I hope he likes this one” Wing said, taking the stick in his jaws and came back out slowly approaching Nuke who raised an eye at the stick Wing had picked out. He was impressed and stepped forwards towards Wing and grabbed the stick from his jaws before giving him a head nod to follow him. The courtship was complete and Nuke had accepted Wing as his partner for the courting season that was soon to come quickly. The pair would now look for a nesting spot to raise their young that would soon enter the world but finding a good nesting spot was important in protecting their eggs before they hatched. Nuke and Wing looked at various spots to possibly nest with Wing picking up more sticks and nesting material to use while letting Nuke pick the spot for them. 

Finally he came to a stop and sniffed around at an area that was deep within the trees. This was the spot that they would pick as he placed the first stick that Wing had gotten for him as Wing came up beside him and helped out placing the nesting material around making sure it would house the eggs properly. It was perfect as Nuke nudged Wing playfully before taking a sit inside the area and making himself comfy with Wing not far behind him. Building a nest was only the start to their busy life that was soon to come as soon enough hatchlings and eggs would be their next priority but that was to come for the two.

Over the next few days they would hunt and challenge one another to strengthen their bond, with many more collecting things for the nest and make sure that when the eggs came they would be ready to their best of their ability to take care of them.

“Let’s get some rest for now, we will be busy In the next few days” Nuke said slowly as he laid his head on Wings back and closed his eyes. Wing nodded and smiled before laying his head down in the soft bedding he had collected and added to their nest. Night soon fell as the two cryo’s lay asleep and happy to have found a partner for the courting season and that it went well for both of them, this time around.
