Spring time had rolled around now with the cold leaving as the warmer weather was now in full force, winter brought its own challenges but so did spring as the plant growth now had sped up with spring came allergy season with most dinosaurs suffering the annoying side effects. Thinking the three could escape the rough and new weather a trio of sucho’ s made their way down to a large river that flowed throughout the jungle they called home but it wasn’t going as well as they thought it was on their travels. Leading the way was a larger sucho who went by the name Rocket and behind him was Hikon and Yuta who were quick to follow, the two rubbing their snouts in annoyance.

“AACHOO!” Yuta snorted as he let out a sound of air from his snout causing him to stop in his tracks and shake his head before sighing. The larger male sucho who spotted a white marking on his face let out  a laugh and Rocket grumbling in front of them. This is what the three were trying to escape and it was the spring allergies that watered their eyes and provided never ending sneezing with every step and Yuta was the first to fall victim to it.

“I told you it was going to be you first Yuta, laying in all that dill weed grass wasn’t a good idea” Hikon said laughing as he trotted looking back at Yuta who gave a annoyed face, he wasn’t a stranger to the spring allergies so Hikon knew how to avoid them as much as possible but he could feel it in his snout that the pollen all the new plants bloomed was filling the air. The three had been in the jungle during the winter and when spring was coming they decided it was best to move towards the rivers and water to beat the pollen clouds but Yuta had been in the grass which wasn’t the best of ideas and now was suffering for it.“ don’t jinx yourself Hikon, you're gonna be next if you two are any slower” Rocket grumbled before looking back at the two and grinning, his pace speeding up as he could hear the running water of the river as they weren’t too far off from it. Rocket was experienced and older than the two and always was prepared as he avoided the grass and plant life that bloomed in the spring after the last cold snap on the island.

“It’s not funny you two, shut up Hikon!” Yuta said walking into him with watered eyes and sniffling along with bumping into him unknowing he was passing the pollen dust that was stuck to his scales and with that Hikon also was now stuffed up and let out a sneeze before staring blankly in front of him “Can we just hurry up now he’s infected all of us with pollen Rocket!” he growled towards Yuta who had a smirk across his jaws. The three turned down a pathway following Rocket as the two bickered at one another with Rocket letting out a sigh trying to stay far away so the pollen wouldn’t cling to his black feathers and land him in the same boat, the best way to deal with the pollen was to take a dip in the river and wash it away and that’s what the plan was for the tree just getting there was the issue, Rocket had learnt this from a young age and carried the knowledge with him when he had troubles with his first spring.

Hikon and Yuta followed doing their best with stuffed snouts and watery eyes to follow Rocket knowing the older sucho had a cure for the spring pollen and they couldn’t wait to reach the river to get it all washed off, also learning a valuable lesson even if Rocket was harsh in his words they knew what he was doing.

“Here we are the river is just ahead and you two can finally wash off all that allergy causing pollen” Rocket said grinning as Yuta and Hikon nodded in agreement with Yuta piping up “finally I have been sneezing this entire way I thought we would never find the river” as he dashed ahead past Rocket to the sound of the running water and splashing into followed by a dive as he disappeared under it.

Hikon soon followed and Rocket sat on the rivers edge watching the two wash off the pollen with Yuta resurfacing followed by Hikon afterwards the two letting out a sigh of relief, finally out of the pollen's hold. “That was the worst walk of my life, Yuta next time avoid the grass you pollen carrier” Hikon said splashing water at him in which he laughed and grinned before speaking “it wasn’t my fault Rocket didn’t warn me soon enough maybe next time dont make fun of me"

The river was the best place to be during the come around of spring as it provided easy access, and they weren’t the only other Dino’s who were using the river as a get away, more and more dinosaurs arrived to the river to use it to escape the allergies of spring. Rocket sighed and looked at the two before feeling the pollen begin to bug his snout as he decided it was time to dip into river to be proactive as he dived in between Yuta and Hikon, he was starting to feel the effects and didn’t want to

Be a sneezing mess. His feathers now wet as he let out a relaxed growl sitting on the surface of the water, it would be a couple days here until the plants fully bloomed in their jungle home and besides it wasn’t the worst thing for the three. The three soaked in the river both scales and feathers wet so they would be allergy free for the most part, before taking post on the river beds edge soaking up the warm weather,even with the pollen they wanted to enjoy the warm weather that followed with spring.

“We will stay here for a few days until it dies down, are you two okay with that?” Rocket said as he pulled Himself from the water sitting beside Hikon and Yuta awaiting an answer from them.

“I think we are both okay with that” Hikon said as he looked around and stretched out him back and tail before laying his head down, Yuta piping up and agreeing before enjoying the sun “ I am in agreement with Hikon” as he let out a smile.

“Well then that’s settled, we will stay here” Rocket said as he noticed the two relaxing and joined in laying himself out and stretching as well, out of the jungle might as well enjoy it for the time being.

Yuta and Hikon learnt a good lesson on how to combat the spring and the annoyance of allergies and Rocket avoided it all together, seemed like a good compromise and win for the trio, relaxing as they heard the continuing arrival of others by the loud sneezing that echoed around the river… well spring was here alright, it was a never ending battle Every year it seemed.
