[Gift] Excited for Hot springs

Camille was running ahead of the small herd of Styras. All four of them were her dads. They had found and adopted her as an egg and despite the shock of her hatching out as a raptor and not a herbivore they had loved her from the moment she hatched. Brick, a yellow and red striped Styra walked beside Fell, a neutral based Sytra with dark green tabby markings covering his body. Just behind them were Kassadin, a wine red Styra and together with him walked their fourth partner Cantaloupe. They were for the most part not a specially odd pack. Most of them were Styras after all. But as Camillie stopped to let her dads catch up to her the scenario became slightly more unnatural. It was nothing the four Styras cared much about anyway. 

“Camille. Take it easy.” Fell said as the young raptor jumped up on a tall rock near the path they were walking. They were used to the Raptor climbing nearly everything she could find. But now was the season of cold. Snow had begun to fall and rocks especially had started getting real slippery. Fell especially worked about the raptor as she jumped the rocks. Not that she had ever hurt herself but any day could be the first day for that. 

“Don’t worry, Fell. She will be fine. She gotta learn somehow doesn’t she?” Kassadin’s voice could be heard from behind him. 

“Well someone gotta care about our daughter.” Fell answered back with a snort. It was not that he thought Kassadin was a bad dad. Not at all. But he could not be as relaxed sometimes as Kassadin could be. Kassadin was for sure one of the calm and collected dads that didn’t fear a bruise. Fell wasn’t overbearing. If it had been summer he wouldn’t have batted an eyelid at all at her jumping around. But now the cold rock immediately froze any liquids that formed on its surface creating an extremely slippery surface. 

“Don’t worry, don’t worry.” Brick added onto Kassadins previous words. “She’s surefooted. She won't lose to a bit of ice.” Fell could hear how Cantaloupe and Kassadin agreed behind him. It was true. Not only did she have the genes of a raptor but she had also been jumping around at high speeds since she was small. Something he didn’t have experience with himself. Climbing a hill was enough of a challenge for Fell after all. 

“Papas!” Camille’s voice could be heard in front of them. Despite the fact that there was not a single crumb of panic in her voice, all four of them still whipped their heads around quickly to see if she was in any danger. Despite the three Styras assurance that there was no danger for their active daughter they all were. “Papas! We are here! The hot springs!” She was practically jumping up and down on the small hill in front of them.

Fell squinted his eyes slightly, he could see the steam rise from behind her. Despite Camille’s excitement she still managed to stand still on the hill waiting for her dads to manage to climb it as well.

All five of them stood on top of the hill to look down on the hot springs. There were many other dinosaurs there. Most of them were already in the hot water but a few of them were cooling off by laying at the side of the hotsprings. 

“Can I jump in already?” Camille practically jumped up and down in front of them, ready to sprint down to the water and jump into it. 

“Do you remember our rules?” Brick asked the young raptor, who nodded excitedly. 

“And do you remember what you should do if you start feeling too hot?” Fell asked. Their two other partners standing behind them letting them go over all the safe guards again. It made them feel more comfortable. 

“Yes yes. I should tell one of you all. And then get out of the water.” 

“Correct! And don’t talk to stranger's.” Kassadin said from behind Fell and Brick. Cantaloupe smiling behind them both as they had already said all the things he himself could think of. 

“But the most important thing is to have fun.” Kassadin added in with a wink. Their daughter nodded over and over again. Fell was almost worried she would hurt her neck if she didn’t stop.

“Don’t annoy too many other people. Be respectful. Now go have fun.” Fell added as he nudged her. He barely managed to nudge her before she was off running towards one of the closest hot springs. A big carno was sitting in it. The carno was soaking deep as Camille came at it in full speed. Fell and Brick immediately started running towards it as well. Prepared for her to jump out without a thought and splash the gray and purple carno relaxing in it. But as they had gotten halfway down she came to a stop.

“Are you by yourself?” She asked. At least she didn’t jump into the hotspring and annoy the Carno. She decided to annoy it from outside the hotspring. The Carno lifted her head to look at the raptor.

“Yes. Yes I am.” The carno answered with a curios gaze at the raptor. 

“Do you mind if I share this one with you?” Camille was walking around the hot spring looking at the water. It was light blue in colour, unlike the sea she had seen so far. It was letting out air bubbles in a slow fashion and steam was rising slowly from it. The steam itself was enough to fill the air with warmth. 

“Where are your parents', little one?” The carno started looking around for other Raptors when Fell and Brick, followed by Kassadin and Cantaloupe who took the slower approach rather than running down the hill. 

“I am so sorry, this is our daughter Camille.” The carno looked shocked at first before nodding her head slight. “I am Fell, this is Brick. Over there is Kassadin and Cantaloupe. And you’ve already met Camille.” 

The carno kept looking over at the Styras before turning her gaze back to the raptor who was sticking one toe into the water to test the temperature.

“They're all my dads all of them!” Camille announced happily without looking up from the water. “So can I also jump in here?” 

The carno looked back at the Styras. 

“Sure.” The carno lifted itself slightly creating even more space in the already big hotspring she was relaxing in. Camille was only so slow so that she didn’t splash anyone around her. When she was in the hot spring she let out a big, happy sigh.

“Papas, you have to try this. It's amazing.” She stretched out. Still barely taking up space in the hot spring. Brick and Fell both looked over at the grey and purple carno and as she nodded they both also entered the hotspring. Followed, eventually, by Kassadin and Cantaloupe. The four Styras all took one side of the hot spring. Making sure to leave the Carno a gracious amount of space on her side so that she wouldn’t feel that it was too crowded. 

“Oh yes, this is absolutely amazing.” Kassadin exclaimed as Camille swam over to him, grabbing onto him so she could just float in the warm water. 

“Fantastic idea to come here.” Brick agreed as he lowered himself slightly deeper into the water.
