Unsurprisingly, the sabotage of the alarm had drawn the attention of the guards. As the gang watched from around the corner, the two Iggys sent the remaining Euoplos off into the jungle, probably for reinforcements. It was the worst case scenario, leaving them with two Iguanodons to fight their way past into the prison. The two were large and intimidating, easily on the upper end of sizer that they had seen so far for this new species. One of them, the dark grey bald one, had a litany of scars across his chest which meant two things in Piper's mind. Either this guy was a seasoned warrior or he was incompetent enough to get hurt in the first place. She cast a quick look sideways at her brother, seemingly recovered from being smacked into the wall. The other Iggy was feathered, reddish brown ticked with black on top with a white underbelly, showing no signs of previous battle damage. Again, Piper narrowed her eyes at that, she was either good enough to avoid damage or she was a fresh face to the sight of battle.

With the Iggys backs to them, they had one shot at launching a surprise attack. It would be their only advantage against such huge opponents, bigger than Shunos and more heavily muscled too. Even their usual raptor advantage of working in a pack and outnumbering the enemy would only get them so far when there was only three of them versus two fully grown Iguanodons. It would be one shot, one chance to strike the court where it mattered and leave the way clear for the jailbreak they had been working towards for days now.

Cassidy took the lead, not wanting to throw the others into a lethal situation first without having the first strike. Her powerful leap landed her onto the grey Iggy's back and her teeth found his neck easily from there. Her claws both dug into the flesh of his back, aiming for grip with a side of damage to his spine. He roared in outrage and from the corner of her eye she saw the brown Iggy swinging at her only to be knocked off course by something pulling on her tail. It turned her trajectory enough that she barely swatted at her comrade's flank.

Sela spun on a dime, her teeth flashing in a grimace at the blue-eyed brown raptor that had thrown her off balance. The raptor growled back, up on her tiptoes and ready to move the second Sela showed signs of movement. So, she didn't. With her back still turned but her superior wide vision she swiped with her tail and managed to thump the pink raptor still sinking her teeth into Guerilla's neck. It wasn't enough to shake her off but it was enough to draw her own attacker's attention and Sela seized upon the chance. She swung with her forelimb this time, the sharp edge of her thumb pointed at the chest of the raptor. If she could puncture that small, frail chest they would be a raptor down instantly. Her swing left her right side open and in a flash another raptor closed the gap and lunged for her throat. She interrupted her attack to pull away, feeling the snap of teeth closing next to the soft flesh of her throat, close enough for her to feel the spittle hit her. Her retreat left her back to back with Guerilla, who was still struggling to shake the persistent raptor holding onto his back. With her claws that far embedded into his flesh, he knew a flip onto his back would crush her without giving her time to extract herself, but that left his belly open for attack from the other two. Even if she was holding her own against them, Sela might not be fast enough to block their teeth and claws from his underside. He tried to slam his hip into the stone wall of one of the buildings they were using as a prison, but the raptor used the leverage of her claws to hang off his side. His hip bumped the stone, sending a jolt of pain through his bones at the collision.

Sela's head was spinning, any time she tried to make a move to help her comrade she was struck at by the twin raptors circling her. She had been trained to fight multiple opponents, they all had been, but the nimble movements of the Utahraptors far outpaced the Oviraptors she had trained against, and their bites were far sharper too. They never lingered, just snapped and tore at whatever they could reach before dancing away out of her reach. Her breath was coming in fast gasps, already losing steam against the relentless assault. Surely they must be tiring too? This was beyond the length of a typical sparring session, they had to be feeling just as exhausted as she was. The male raptor made a leap for her shoulder and her attempt at dodging him put her throat right in range for his sister, who seized the opportunity where she could. Sela brought her forelimbs up to try and bat her away but before she could the raptor brought her own forelimbs up to claw at her face. The Iggy felt white-hot pain burst through her skull as the raptor's shorter but still sharp claws found her eye and punctured through the cornea with ease. She felt something drip down the side of her face and bellowed in pain, instinctively trying to shake the attacker off but only succeeding in mutilating her eyeball further. Pain blotted out most other senses and with her left eye gone she swung side to side to try and keep both of the raptors in view. With her vision blurring, she could no longer tell the two apart and made a split second decision to lunge at where she thought the male was standing. To her horror, she hit nothing, pitching forward and colliding headfirst with the stone wall and knowing no more after.

Cassidy was beginning to fear the loss of her claws when she felt something land on the Iguandon's other side. She chanced a look up and saw Sparrow clamping his jaws around the peak of the spine and shaking his head furiously. Reinvigorated by reinforcements, she redoubled her efforts to clamber along the Iggy's back and followed Piper's example in blinding him. Not permanently of course, just covering his eyes and making him run in circles until his head met the same concussed fate as his compatriot's.

Cassidy pulled her claws from his skin with a satisfyingly wet sound and looked upon the unconscious Iguanodons with a sense of pride. Her gang had done this, and yes, Piper had fought a little dirty but surely they'd earned a little foul play after running around this damned jungle for so long. The sight of the two knocked-out guards reminded her of the Cryo still waiting in the bushes, probably sleeping off her own massive headache.

"We should get Hazard before we raid the prison, no sense leaving our best wrecking ball behind," she rasped with a grin at the twins.
