“You will have to win in one of our games if you want free access to explore down here, shouldn’t be hard for outsiders like you” a large court iggy said pushing aside some smaller court members as he made his way to the front of the group who had surrounded a small group of carnivores who were at the ready to defend themselves as the court of iggys were coming off hostile. A game was something the court always liked to do to outsiders to see if they were worthy of keeping around and this time it was aimed at Yuta, Rika and Haze, a larger carno who kept his head low and growled at the iggys who stood around them.

“A game that sounds easy to do.. Do we get to pick since we are the guests?” Yuta hissed through his jaws as he stepped forwards followed by Rika, another sucho who narrowed her eyes at the other iggys who got too close to Yuta. Haze turned his head when he heard Yuta speak of a game as he was always good at them and with Haze here who enjoyed games was now interested.

The iggy laughed at its companions “sure why don’t you pick, it’s not like you three will win anyways” he snorted stamping his foot down in the dirt and giving a asshole like smirk to them, the court was good at doing games and most outsiders so they were always cocky and confident.

Haze stepped forwards and looked at Rika and Yuta who conversed on what game to pick as the three talked about to quietly while the court watched from behind with Yuta speaking up first “how about something to do with fishing, the stream around here would prove that easy maybe a fishing competition” he said before Rika gave her two cents “ that seems like a possible Idea, we are are carnivores and they are herbivores surely we would outwit them in that aspect"  She said hissing looking back at the iggys who snorted at her which made her roll her eyes.

Haze nodded and grunted “we can out fish them any day and then they will be forced to let us explore this place more without them causing problems” he said turning towards the iggys after an agreement nod from Yuta and Rika.

“We want to have a fishing competition, using the streams here” Haze said standing tall and upright as the iggys laughed and snorted “whatever you say don’t cry when we beat you three, off to the stream we go then” the games were on then.

Rika, Yuta and Haze followed behind the court iggys who shoved them which caused some haste between the two groups with the court

Coming to a stop at a bright blue stream which it was so clear you could see the fish swimming around and around this was going to be easy for

Them especially with Rika and Yuta on the team.

“When we say, each team will go after the fish and the team with more wins, which will be us so don’t try and lose too bad” the court iggy said as he entered the water followed by three other iggys.

Haze sighed and followed behind Rika and Yuta and spoke up “these idiots don’t know how bad they are going to lose do they” he laughed and sniffed the water with a grin which had Rika and Yuta laugh and nod “oh they don’t even know what’s coming, challenging two suchos and a carno who happens to hangout with us, we are winning” Yuta said with a toothy grin as he got his claws at the ready.

The games started as both dinosaur teams rushed into chasing around fish with the iggys trying to push the others out of the way making Rika hiss at them where she would use her jaws to snatch them up before the iggys could, which left Haze and Yuta taking the other side of the small stream as haze chased the fish towards Yuta who would snatch them up with ease.

“Looks like we are in the lead” Yuta said as he watched the large herbivores struggle to even get a couple fish caught as the iggys fumbled them and watched as the fish flopped out of their grasp which made the iggys angry as they watched Yuta, Rika and Haze catch them with ease.

“You three are cheating!” A iggy called out as he struggled to catch a fish who quickly swam away, Rika walking past the iggys with three fish in her jaws as she placed it down in their pile “looks like you overestimated how good you were” she chuckled sneering at their faces, the court would have to keep their word too as they made a deal which angered them even more, Haze brought more fish after he had caught some himself and placed them in the pile which Yuta nodded to him with a happy smile, looks like beating the court at their own game was just as fun.

“Look how sad they look” Haze said watching the iggys step out of the stream with only a couple fish as their pile was small and nowhere near the three carnivores' size. Yuta , Rika and Haze stepped out afterwards adding to the pile some more which ended the game and there was a clear winner.

“Looks like we beat you at your own game, too bad” Rika said as she stood next to Yuta who narrowed his eyes at the large iggy who suggested the game “so do we get to explore with ease since we won your stupid competition” he hissed followed by a growl from Haze, the three knew the court iggys could be tricky and might pull something dumb to get out of them losing.

But with a surprisingly calm tone, the large court iggy nodded and snorted “we will win next time, don’t get caught by us again.. the next game won’t be so easy” he said turning around and walking off followed by the other two in his group, they were clear for now and would be left alone by the court and thank god since the three weren’t keen on playing any other games.

“Well that was easy, nice work team” Haze said before leaning down and gulping a fish with ease, it was time to head out and being in this area they might run into more so it was best to get going.

Rika and Yuta nodded following behind Haze and were happy to be out of the games for now, they had some Atlantis to explore, who knew what other games they would have to compete in but for now they had a break.
