Loud footsteps crushed the ground below them as drool pools left behind from a large acro splattered all over the ground and dirt causing any bugs who dared walk into the slobber to get stuck, Geiger was out on the prowl as it had been awhile since she emerged on the surface from the labs but the large beast was curious about all the talk that traveled around the labs about new flora that was growing fast and large Along with this new place called Atlantis. She was over all the vines that would get caught on her as she moved throughout the thick jungle leaves which just angered the large carnivore as she huffed chewing at the vines that covered the ground causing it to be annoying to walk.

“These stupid overgrown plants when will it stop, it’s making hunting impossible and what even is this place” she hissed to herself as she sniffed the air, her tracker collar light beeping every so often as she moved. The jungle had been overrun with the new plant life and it wasn’t stopping anytime soon so the giant would have to deal with it but something seemed off recently as the further she explored into the deep jungle , the leaves and vines got bigger and were lined with thorns. The area was new to her and being hungry while exploring wasn’t helping the giant beast as well.

Vines hung from above as they grew into whatever would house them as Geiger was now in the thicker area of the jungle but something seemed off as the stench of rotting flesh filled the air which was usually normal but something seemed off especially being in this new place. She hadn’t crossed paths with anything yet which was odd to her since the talk of this place was all any dinosaur talked about. everything looked bare and untouched which caused the feeling of uneasiness to rise under her scales… something was up and it wasn’t good.

“What is going on around here… where is my food” she grumbled looking around seeing nothing to indicate life was around “what is that smell something must have died recently in here” she growled before spotting fresh blood splatters across the jungle floor which lead to a large carcass of a parasaur who had just died but there was no sign of bite marks or any on its hide but almost like large strangle marks around its neck.

“That’s odd..” Geiger said before feeling something wrap around her feet causing her to turn and see sharp vines moving across the ground towards her trying to grab ahold of the large acro, as she let out a loud hiss turning to the large vines that now had grabbed hold of her. She understood what happened to the parasaur, as she snapped at the vines that had a hold of her.

“What are these things, and they are trying to eat me” she growled and was looking for where the source of the vines were coming from and her pupils turned into slits when she spotted a large carnivorous plant that was also grabbing the dead parasaur and began dragging it towards its mouth as teeth like appendages stuck out from it.

Geiger let out a roar as she now grabbed the thicker park of the vines and began chewing through them not even caring about the thorns that jabbed into her mouth. “ Let go of me, you overgrown plant!” She hissed now hearing the sound of more vines that moved across the dirt towards her, this was great she was in a new place and the plant life was trying to eat her and she wasn’t having any of it.

As she let out a roar the giant what seemed to be a pitcher plant gurgled as it drug the parasaur carcass into its pitcher which made splashing and sloshing sounds as it began to digest it and Geiger was next on the menu if she didn’t hurry and free herself from its grip which it had hold of her pretty well for her size. Struggling against the grip Geiger used all her strength to pull back as she watched the pitcher plants vines begin to strain as the two fought in a battle of tug of war against one another.

“I Said, I won’t be plant food” she growled through her teeth letting out a loud roar that shook the jungle around her as she turned towards the plant, jaws at the ready. “If you won’t let me go of me guess I’ll have to chew my way through” she snorted making her way towards the plant which couldn’t react in time due to the change of direction and strain it had used to pull Geiger in.

The large acro rushed towards the Giant plant as she dug her jaws into the bottom area of it as it struggled to grasp her which caused her large teeth to sink into its fragile plant like material as she gutted it causing the pitchers juices to flow out along with the parasaur carcass followed and as Geiger felt the vines loosen she huffed spitting out the pitcher juices from her jaws “man this place sucks, not even here for a few hours and already almost got eaten by these floral.. guess the talk was right” she mumbled to herself looking around. This Atlantis place was full of wonders and it seemed dangerous but she wanted to explore further into the jungle but that meant possibly running into more dangerous plants that guarded the way.

“Well now I see how the parasaur died, these things are strong” turning to the large pitcher plant that was now gurgling as it stopped moving. The pitcher had teeth and large vines that sprouted from the base covered in thorns which it seemed to use to grab onto prey and strangle it or just drag it in before the prey could get away, and the fact it could drag Geiger gave her chills down her scales.

“I must be careful when I move forwards, have no idea what is lurking around this jungle” she growled to herself stepping over the dead pitcher and leaving the parasaur carcass behind who knew what it was coated in and Geiger wasn’t going to stick around to find out… it was time to keep moving forwards.

Stepping forwards she headed deeper into the jungle keeping an eye on each plant she passed, as it wouldn’t be long until she ran into another or more weird floral species, as she left vines krept out grabbing the parasaur carcass and dragging it into the undergrowth, the jungle was alive and anything entering it was in danger but Geiger’s curiosity of the new place was pushing away the fear and danger she felt, she needed to keep going forwards to learn about this place.

The acro would run into various other floral species and some were a lot bigger than she had ever see, it was going to be a battle to get through here and she was ready. Letting out a growl she came across more vines that moved towards her… it was battle time no matter how ferocious the floral will be.
