Koralie opened her eyes, feeling drowsy from yesterday's events. She thought about the plants and how dangerous they had been and she decided to ignore the thoughts for now. She noticed it was still night time but she was able to look up past her shelter and see the stars, she knew the sun would be up soon. She felt for her necklace that was still around her neck. She lay there, thinking about how far she came from home, but her bones ached to adventure and explore more. Something told her there was more out there, more to explore, more to figure and puzzle out. She relaxed a few more minutes before slowly getting up. Shaking the bedding off her body, she headed to the drinking pond close to where she had slept, but she stopped when it looked disgusting, much too muddy and dirty to drink from, and decided to head to the river when the sun would finally peak it's dazzling rays over the horizon. She made her way down to the river and saw her breakfast swimming lazily in the water there. She wanted that nice and juicy looking lobster down below. She certainly hadn't had such a meal in quite a while. She went down further to get it and snapped her jaws onto it. She stopped for a moment, lobster dangling in her mouth, when she saw a dark tunnel opening. She thought about going inside immediately , but decided against it for now, too hungry to explore for the time being. She decided to explore after she ate. After heading back to land, she slammed the lobster against the rock, hearing a resounding cracking noise that came with breaking shells. She smiled and dug into it's flesh, enjoying its delicious meat as she pried its shell open further to get to the succulent meat. She thought about the tunnel. It seemed to be a twoleg-made tunnel and she had to wonder where it led to. As she ate, she looked back at the water. She certainly knew the danger of entering a tunnel, but she's sure she can handle it, she is tough as the biggest and heaviest of rocks. She is not afraid and she certainly wouldn't go down without a fight. She finishes her food and heads down to the water. Full with that lobster, she went under and started to head to the tunnel she had found. As she went in she saw arrows pointing where to go so she won't get lost. She knew she needed to make arrows pointing back the way she came, just in case she needed to escape. If anything goes wrong, she'd need them. When she swam in, she saw some skeletons. She stopped while looking at the bones. Some of the skeletons were of creatures she had never seen before and she got worried. Some were fresher than others, and that didn't bode well for her if something or someone lived in this area. She got a closer look at them, noticing these bones had what looked to be thumbs, when she saw a new dinosaur carcass… The head was gone and she found out where those thumbs came from. Cautiously, she decided she would keep going and figure it out later as she kept going, ignoring the warning signs. She followed the arrows and saw it led to an open opening with trees surrounding the area. She slowly went up to the surface, she didn't like this feeling, it was like something was off. She saw some kelp and went to it, poking her head out just a little to get a better look of her surroundings because this was an unknown place to her. She didn't know if it was safe to come out or not as she looked around and saw a small area that trailed away from the area she was located at. It had a stream leading towards a smaller water source. She went under and decided to go in that area since it would give her an advantage as she waited for the sun to go down. She decided to look around the area again at nightfall. While waiting, she heard footsteps and she hid deeper into the depths of the water and looked upwards, hiding in the kelp, trying to camouflage herself in the murky green plants. She saw two guards drinking the water but took notice that these were new dinosaurs she had yet to meet around her home. She had a really bad feeling about these dinosaurs, choosing not to introduce herself to them just yet. She saw them leave not long afterwards and waited for it to be night. Once nightfall finally came, she slowly slipped out of the water to look around the area. She stayed quiet, careful of every move she made as she didn't like how big the new dinosaurs were. She decided to stick around the treeline and looked around, she smelled the flowers, her necklace clinking gently against her neck, a silent comfort in this new and scary place. She saw a trail and decided to follow it. She noticed it led to a new cavernous room, slowly going into it, looking around, it appeared to be a throne room. She was in shock as she had never seen this kind of room before, but she kept quiet as she looked at what looks like to be a spot where someone would proudly sit or relax. She decided to back out silently so she wouldn't get caught, but she bumped into something rough and unfortunately alive. She looked behind her and saw that it was the two guards from earlier, and they didn't seem all too happy to see her there. “Who are you, and what is your business here?! You pests seem to always think you can come in here and steal our Queen's things, well I think not." Koralie backed up, startled and nervous, but not scared as she replied, “I’m not here to steal anything, I swear! I'm here just to explore because this is a new place and I was extremely curious!” she snapped a bit, snarling at them, refusing to back down ,but the two guards rushed in. One bodyslammed her into the ground and she yelped feeling her body jolt from the pain, but she kicked out her leg, scratching him on his side, all while the other one grabbed a jougs, also known as a neck shackle, and put it around her neck before she could even think to react. She was furious that she now had this metal shackle on her neck, but she was more worried about her necklace as they led her out of the throne room and down some corridors to another part of this place. They led her to a squat concrete building that looked a little worse for wear, where she saw cells that had metal bars that looked like they'd seen better days. She didn't like where this was going as she was framed for something she hadn't even attempted to do. They took her to an open field, where they connected her chains to the post that was attached to a rather large tree. As they left her there, she looked around to see if she could fight her way out. She stopped when she noticed the post was rotten, but she knew she needed the key to get this metal thing off her neck. She started to calculate how she could get her claws on the keys. She pondered and she got the idea to wait until one of the guards came back. She figured out a plan and waited for the right moment to strike. A lone guard came in with a meal for her to eat and she counted. She finally struck, bodyslamming the guard and hearing the post snap, she used her body to knock him over again, grabbing the keys and ran out of there while using the keys to take off the metallic neck chain. She checked to make sure she still had her necklace as she ran, figuring out the best way to get to the water. She heard them call out an alarm, notifying the other guards of their escaped prisoner. She dodged and waved at them tauntingly as she hopped into the water. Before she jumped in, she saw a rather pretty dinosaur that she figured must be the queen, but chose to ignore the queen in favor of escaping this nuthouse. As she hit the water, she swam down, going into the tunnel and followed the arrows. As she got out, she panted, swimming to the shoreline, absolutely exhausted. She flopped down, panting as she looked back at the area she had swam out of, wondering who those dinosaurs were. She decided it was best not to find out, and also chose to move away from the area so she could finally take a well deserved nap. She snagged a fish on the way to her new napping spot and found a safe area to chomp down on her catch. Afterwards she trudged to throw what little was left to the scavengers, well away from her new spot, then trudged back on tired and sore limbs. She got comfortable and laid her head down, finally resting her tired eyes. She hoped that her next adventure wasn't nearly as dangerous as she finally left for the land of dreams.
