Crossing Paths ( Age-up for : Soleil & Eclipse & Venom )- AgentShark & Lil Monster

Growing up was a part of life for young adult dinosaurs and learning ones self limits along with the many dangers even if it was a herbivore and they could be just as dangerous as the carnivores that called the island their home. It had been later in the hot months with the hatchlings now grown into young adults and hanging around the elders less and less due to their age. Two familiar faces peered from the tree line as Black and yellow feathers flashed, followed by a large head that stuck out from above the tree line. 

“Jeez Venom you are so big now, we are going to get spotted from a mile away” Eclipse snorted as she stomped her hoof before looking left and right making sure the coast was clear before Soleil shoved her out of the way and laughed “Why are we being so quiet, move your fat void rump out of the way” she said cheekily before looking up to Venom who towered over them “we are fine Eclipse nothing will touch us with her around she's gigantic” as she walked past Eclipse who had an annoyed look across her face.

The three had been adventuring further and further from the herd lately due to being older and the trio had found themselves in an older abandoned area that was off past the tree line, and wanted to explore it as it looked intriguing to them when they had seen it being much younger but weren’t allowed to explore it.

“We still have to be careful Soleil so don’t be so loud, we don’t know the area” Eclipse said as she caught up the the yellow feathered parasaur and was nudged aside by Venom who shook her head and chuckled “I think you are so strung up we are fine, so relax a bit” Venom said as she stepped over old rubble and fallen logs.

With a huff Eclipse followed behind making sure to keep an eye on behind them but she didn’t notice they were being watched by red eyes who didn’t like intruders in his space but for now he waited in the shadows keeping to himself and using the rubble as cover his black feathers blending in to the environment around him. The trio would learn that even other herbivores could be dangerous and that they were in unwelcome territory, everything was quiet for now.

“What do you think lives here?” Soleil said as she snorted due to the dust around from the old rubble going up her bill, as she leaned down to inspect some of the old building rubble. Venom and Eclipse were ahead but came to a stop as they also wanted to get a closer look, as Venom lowered her head next to Soleil and looked at her puzzled “Doesn’t look like anything is here so don’t know much about the living situation being good here” she said chuckling.

Ahead, Eclipse had wandered ahead leaving Venom and Soleil behind as she found a small building that had a dark entrance which made the black feathered parasaur stop as she heard the sound of heavy footsteps approaching.

“Who’s there come out” Eclipse said snorting as she narrowed her eyes and stared into the dark spotting red eyes and a lumbering body behind a large crest that spotted red eye like markings, it was a large bull styracosaurus who went by the name of Zombie but there was one problem he wasn’t a nice one and the trio was about to find that out the hard way.

With a loud roar that rumbled the area around them causing Eclipse to flinch and back up “Uh guys… I don’t think this one is nice” she honked out before taking off as Zombie rushed forwards towards her swinging his head and his massive horn, they were in trouble and not welcome here and the large lumbering tank of a herbivore wasn’t afraid to show it.

“Eclipse, what was that Venom? I think I heard her call us” Soleil said as she looked around for her friend, who had Venom also looking but not spotting the black parasaur.

“Where did she go..?” Venom said as she got half of the sentence out before spotting Eclipse barreling towards them with Zombie hot on her tail which caused the large shuno to back up “Uhh I think we better run Soleil”

“Run! Now get moving you two!” she honked looking behind her spotting Zombie right behind her “I think I found who lives here and he’s not very nice” she said rushing past Venom and Soleil who were quick to follow but Venom was a bit slow and may have to stand her ground as she looked seeing the large styraco catching up.

“Get moving you big lard now!” Eclipse said pushing against Venom who shook out of it before picking up the pace, they needed to get through where they had explored prior and it looked small enough that Zombie wouldn’t be able to follow them. Soleil was first to get through back into the treeline followed by Eclipse and Venom who had caught up and stayed ahead of the large herbivore who slowed his charge stopping at the fence area and let out a loud snort.

“Don’t come back here! Or next time it will be worse” he roared, stomping his feet before turning back around, which left Soleil and Eclipse’s feathers ruffled and Venom knowing that there were things much faster than her and much bigger. “Oh good job Eclipse, of course you find trouble and better yet an angry herbivore” Venom said chuckling as she caught her breath. 

“Guess there was something living there after all huh?” Soleil said as she shook out her feathers and walked ahead “I think that's enough exploring for now, I wanna go back to the herd” she said which Eclipse and Venom nodded before following behind both of them looking back and shaking off the chase they just had… guess herbivores could be just as mean to cross paths with.
