Koralie was walking around a river bed with her pink feathery body, it ruffled with the wind blowing on to her a little. She was looking for food or scraps of fish as she noticed there were no dead fish or scraps. She decided she could go hunt for fish as she slowly stepped into the water. She goes under, making sure she is safe before swimming around. She saw a school of salmon, getting slowly close before she swam as fast as she could, clamping her teeth down into the salmon and swimming back to shore to tear it to pieces. She was looking around as she gobbled it down, she knew she needed to keep going down the river to see if she could find something new. She wanted a new adventure. She heads away from the fish bones, leaving some scraps left for the scavengers. She headed down looking around, she saw a pretty rock, shining as if a rainbow had been trapped inside. She went over to it, fascinated by its rainbow shine. She slowly noticed a trail of the same gemstones, but it was spaced apart. She kept following it. She saw strange feathers, and froze. She stopped and started to smell them to see if it's anything she knew, but it was unfamiliar to her. She started to follow its smell, hoping she could meet this new friend, but she was wary because she didn't know if they were friendly or hostile. Koralie looked down to see foot tracks heading to the direction where the shiny rocks were going. It made her wonder if this creature was carrying them, but she follows them, looking around. She started to notice the bank was slowly being overgrown with thornbushes that were black with red thorns. She didn't like the sight of them, they were rather scary to see. She felt like she was not supposed to be this close to them. She stopped, seeing a rat going close to it, watching as it decided to eat  one of the thorns. She watched it skittered away, then fell dead very suddenly. She now knew these thorns were extremely dangerous. She slowly descended to the waters edge, going in slowly before going under, holding her breath as she went under the vines and thorns. She saw a small opening, going up to catch her breath before going back under. She kept going through the process with each air pocket she found. She slowly started to wonder how wide this cavern was. She went back under and after a few more minutes, she saw the opening and she swam a little faster, going up for air. She looked around, seeing the bank. She went over to it, got on it and laid down to recover some stamina. She was wondering how long she had been swimming for, and ultimately decided to take a small nap before continuing on her adventure, wondering where the tracks and rocks led to. She slowly laid her head down, closing her eyes, finally falling asleep. A creature slowly went to where she was sleeping, tilting its head at Koralie. With its feathers ruffling in the wind, showing its unique coloring and its crest on its head, it eyeballed her as it held on to the gemstones before skittering away, leaving feathers and footprints behind. Hours later she starts to wake up as she opens up her eyes, stretching her body as she gets up. Looking around to see more feathers and more of those rainbow rocks. She started to think that those weren't there when she took a nap. Did it come up to where she was sleeping to stare at her? She shook her head before setting her snout towards the ground, head down to smell the tracks. She was ready to see what this creature was. She started to stretch her legs a little to get motivated as she started to walk down the river bed. She slowly looked around, being extremely wary still. She started to see something in the distance. She saw more of the rocks, but this time the rocks were getting bigger. She stopped as she heard her tummy growl and she decided to go fishing again before going back on her adventure. She went into the water to find bigger fish lurking. She grabbed one with her teeth, using her arms to grip on to it, taking the fish to the bank as she tore into the fish. She sat to scarf it down. She stopped when she heard leaves being crunched. She stood up, on guard, but stopped upon seeing a small weird feathery tail poking out of the bushes. She looked towards it, a peculiar expression etched on her face, and heard it run away again, dropping the rocks and its feathers. She wanted to follow the creature, though  it was gone, seeing it left a rock trail. She thought about not being stupid to follow it. What if it was a ambush? What would happen if she cornered it? After she ate her fill, she started running after it, she hoped to catch sight of it,  but all it left were it's feathers. She sighed knowing she wont be able to see it so she decided to forget about the creature and to continue her journey. She wondered about some stuff, like why were the thorn bushes so dangerous? She had never seen something that could kill something that quickly, but that were thoughts for another day. Right now she wanted to see where this trail led. She started to see a cliff side. She headed down to the beach, noticing the rock colors. Her eyes widen as she had finally found the souce of the colorful rocks! She looked up at the cliffside, staring at it with open mouthed amazement. She headed down to the beach, softly sitting down, looking at how pretty the ocean was, sparkling with the shimmering colors from the cliffside. She was debating on weather or not to take a swim. She was taking in her surroundings as she closed her eyes to take it all in, listening to the waves crashing onto the shoreline with the seagulls cawing and the soft flapping their wings. She opened up her eyes, watching the crabs pinch and fight with each other, stopping to stare at her as if wondering what she was. She decided to get up and she slowly headed to the water's edge, slowly submerging herself in the water. She looked at the underwater world with amazement, she saw so many colourful fish! She gave chase  to have some fun but she stopped mid swim, seeing the cliffside, and headed to it, seeing how the rocks shimmered underwater. She saw a rock different from the others and she chose to grab it with her claws, going up to the beach so she could sit under the palm tree to get a good look at it. It's pretty blues and various purples and shades of pink left her astonished at its beauty. She decided to keep it as a souvenir and went to find some string to make it into a necklace, well she tried to. She will find out how to put it on later. She decided to take a nap as she closed her eyes, laying her head down to sleep for more adventures to come.
