Crossing Paths ( Age-up for : Forge & Fury )- Starry Knight

The labs had been open for a while now with the surface dinosaurs exploring the underworld and the lab dinosaurs exploring the upper surface but most alpha lab dinosaurs still stuck to the world they knew in the dark and cold world they were brought into. It had been a couple months and Forge and Fury had grown into their young adult years with overcoming the many hardships they had but they made it through, today was a day of exploring the deeper levels of the labs, but something would face the two utahraptors and challenge their bond along with how close would the two come face to face with death's door.

“Forge you really have grown into your armor plates huh, no more falling around” Fury barked at Forge who was taking his time with his steps due to the hallway floor rotting underneath them, which he gave out a small chuckle at Fury’s words. Life had been hard for the two lately and it was nice to finally have a break from fighting or running for their lives and Fury came with the idea of exploring the deeper levels due to the movement of most lab dinosaurs who decided to stay on the surface.

“Well I had to learn at some point I could say the same with your glowing scales, do you know how many times it got us caught or found” Forge said as he picked up his pace when he smelt an odd scent coming from up ahead of them, which Fury picked up on as well.

“You smell that Fury, let’s check it out” Forge said with Fury nodding and followed quickly their claws making noise that echoed around them. It was dark and the smell of rotting meat filled the air… they were in the belly of the labs and only lights that hung from the roof lit a pathway.

Low growling rumbled from in front of the two as the hallway narrowed due to it being crushed and clawed all the way down it on the walls. 

“What is that Fury?” Forge said as he spotted a red light that beeped down the hallway as he stopped the feeling of fear ate down his scales as he saw Fury also pause in front of him, something was there and it was big, much bigger than anything they had run into down here.

Fury felt fear eat away at her scales as she stood still hearing the loud rumbling walking towards them and followed by it was loud growling and the stench of death, it was Geiger the horror of the alpha labs basement she had been tracking the two as they explored around, and they were in trouble now.

The heavy footsteps turned into strides as Geiger rushed towards Fury but in time Forge had slammed into her knocking them over as Geiger rushed past the two jaws at the ready as she fell into the metal door at the end of the hallway causing the labs to shake.

Fury felt pain throughout her body as she shook herself out of the fear, causing her to spring up and let out a growl, making sure Forge who knocked them out of the way was ok.

“Forge get up we need to get out of here, that thing is going to kill us if we don’t move” Fury said as she looked around for a exit, Forge shook of the hit as he stood up listening to Fury but turned his attention to Geiger who had found her footing and was coming back for another attack on the two.

Forge stood in front as Fury looked for a way to get them out but Geiger was blocking the way and they needed her out of the way and it was gonna be tough, the large acro was coming in hot and they didn’t have much time.

“Go down the side Fury when she rushes we can slip past her, she takes to much space up to be able to turn around on my word” Forge said as he narrowed his eyes letting out a hiss as Geiger let out a roar her red eyes filled with rage and horror, they had heard about her from other dinosaurs but never thought they would run into her.

With a nod Fury and Forge took each side of the hallway as Geiger rushed towards them, and with a sprint they took off Fury using her scales to blind Geiger head on and Forge having his exoskeleton armor protecting him from any of the rubble that flung towards him, death was staring them down and they were running into it head on but that was what it was like living in the alpha labs and everything up in their life lead to whether they would survive or die.

Geiger was at the ready as she roared trying to slam the walls to catch Fury but she was took quick and Forge had already ducked under her large jaws, the sound of scratching of her jaws against his armour but untouched. 

“Out that door way quick! She can’t turn around” Fury barked as she looked backwards seeing the large acro getting stuck in the hallway and what was left was the haunting roar from her jaws, but they made it out and with quick thinking from Forge with everything intact.

The alpha labs harboured a harsh environment and running into the horror of the labs was not on Forge and Fury’s plans but it was definitely something they would remember and besides maybe running into Geiger would help them cope with the things to come as the grew into their more adult years, but for now they were safe and had made it from deaths jaws together. It was now up to the upper floors of the labs that were a lot safer for the two and none had any objections to it, the roar from Geiger would haunt them for the days to come.
