The Greatest of Regrets

In his years growing up in the depths of the Alpha Labs - White-fang made many mistakes but none of them haunt him as much as a foolish decision he made in his early adult life. At the time he had a mate, and a few youngins though that was taken from him the day his hatchlings descended into the lower zone... He decided that his mate and him should split up, to find them faster though that plan didn't work out. Nidhogg had gotten to the young ones first, and then his mate - which was indirectly his own fault, at least to him. After all, had they been a pair, maybe they could have dealt with the dragon of the depths.
